Medical advocacy for Black women

Walk into your appointment supported. Leave knowing what happens next.

Your labs say normal. Your body says something else. Nobody should have to carry that alone.

We put a medical expert in your corner to bridge the gap between you and your doctor, for the appointments that matter most.

  • Private, HIPAA-compliant portal
  • We never diagnose, treat, or replace your doctor

You've been the researcher, the record keeper, and the translator.

You track the symptoms, keep the dates straight, read your own results at night, and explain it all again at the next appointment. Then the visit ends, and you're still the one who has to figure out what comes next.

You're capable, you're informed, and you're used to handling things yourself. You should still have someone in your corner.

You know your body.
Your doctor knows medicine.
We bridge the gap between the two.

Someone looks at the whole picture.

Your symptoms, visits and test results are spread across different appointments, and nobody sees how they connect. A medical expert goes through all of it with you.

You don't need to advocate harder.

Pushing harder isn't the answer. We help you get ready, decide what to ask, and make sense of what you're told, so you're not doing it all yourself.

You don't have to prove anything.

You don't have to build a case for why you deserve care. Someone who knows medicine is on your side, so you can stop bracing for the appointment.

You leave knowing what happens next.

Appointments can end with "we'll see" and no plan. You leave knowing what's been checked, what still needs answers, and what to do next.

Get your whole story in front of your doctor in three steps.

1

Tell your story.

Share what's been happening in your own words. We handle the organizing.

2

Get your timeline.

See every symptom, visit and test in order, with what's been checked and what hasn't.

3

Connect with your doctor.

Walk in with your questions and a one-page summary your doctor can read first.

What Do I Say?

Simple words and questions for the five moments it's hardest to be heard:

  • When you're trying to explain what's happening
  • When your symptoms get brushed off
  • When everything looks "normal," but you don't feel normal
  • When you don't understand the answer you're given
  • When the appointment is ending and you're not sure what happens next

Not a script. Just clearer words and better questions, so you leave knowing what was decided.

Good care shouldn't depend on who you know.

Some women have someone they can call before an appointment and after. Someone to help them prepare, make sense of what happened, and talk through what comes next. That kind of support shouldn’t depend on who you know. Everyone deserves access to help in their corner. We’re here to be that person.

Questions you may have.

Shouldn't I be able to do this myself?

You can. But doing it while you're tired, worried or in pain costs time and energy. Support doesn't mean you're not capable.

Will my doctor think I'm difficult?

Asking for clarity isn't confrontation. We're on your side without making your doctor the enemy.

Can't I bring a friend or look it up online?

Loved ones give support and online groups give ideas. Neither knows your full history or the medical language. A medical expert does.

Do you give medical advice?

No. We help you prepare, understand and organize your story, so your doctor can do their job.

Can you tell me what's causing my symptoms?

No. We don't diagnose. We help you see what's been checked, what hasn't, and what to ask next, so your doctor has the full picture.

What if I don't have a diagnosis yet?

You don't need one. Unanswered questions are reason enough to want someone in your corner.

What if I need more than a cheat sheet?
